Laura Madden

Director of Development & Relationships

Laura Madden serves as Director of Development and Relationships for Kaleidoscope Park. She has more than 20 years of experience in successful fundraising for the arts, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), and higher education. She launched her career at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, during a pivotal capital campaign to build the Audrey Jones Beck Building. This formative experience established her passion for fundraising and set a precedent for success. She has since led fundraising initiatives in four cities across Texas, for both large and small organizations. Recently, Laura led fundraising and engagement activities for the Simmons School of Education and Human Development at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Prior to that, she managed corporate giving for the Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. Laura also had the unique opportunity to establish the development and membership programs at Sci-Tech Discovery Center, a start-up non-profit supporting STEM education in Frisco, Texas.

Laura earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University. She is also a graduate of Leadership Frisco and Leadership Women Texas. Her proudest achievement and greatest blessing is being the mom to two fantastic people and several spoiled “fur babies.”
