Kaleidoscope Park to Host Texas Traditions Celebration Presented by the Collin County Business Alliance
FRISCO, Texas (May 6, 2026) – Kaleidoscope Park will welcome the community to its Taste of Texas on Saturday, June 20, as part of its Texas Traditions series. This special evening is presented by the Collin County Business Alliance (CCBA) and is highlighted as a featured event of the Collin County Celebrates initiative, a celebration of regional leadership and civic spirit.
The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Kaleidoscope Park, located at 6635 Warren Parkway in Frisco, in the Performance Lawn and is free and open to the public.
Texas Traditions is a special summer series taking place each Saturday starting June 13 through July 11, with each event highlighting a different theme inspired by some of what makes Texas great. The June 20 event will feature Texas cuisine and embrace the celebration of America 250 as we celebrate the great state of Texas.
“Bringing the Collin County Celebrates initiative to Kaleidoscope Park is the perfect reflection of our mission,” said Sanjiv Yajnik, Chairman of the Collin County Business Alliance. “As we look back on 15 years of the CCBA – as well as 250 years of our country – we celebrate the vibrant, collaborative spirit that makes Collin County a national model for growth and community. We are thrilled to partner with Kaleidoscope Park to bring this ‘Taste of Texas’ experience to our neighbors.”
Guests are encouraged to come hungry and enjoy an evening filled with Texas flavors, cold drinks, family-friendly activities and live entertainment throughout the Park. From delicious bites inspired by the Lone Star State to a festive atmosphere designed for all ages, the evening will offer something for everyone to enjoy.
This celebration will feature live music by King George, the acclaimed George Strait tribute band, performing throughout the night and bringing a true Texas soundtrack to the evening. Guests will also enjoy a drone show by Sky Drones, adding a memorable finale to an already lively night on the lawn.
“At Kaleidoscope Park, creating lasting memories for families, friends, and neighbors is at the heart of why we do this work,” said Shawn Jackson, Executive Director of Kaleidoscope Park. “Partnerships with organizations like the Collin County Business Alliance make our job easy because they help us bring these incredible events to life and keep them free and open to everyone. We are excited to welcome the community to the Park for a truly special evening celebrating Texas traditions and time together.”
Set in the heart of Frisco, Kaleidoscope Park continues to serve as a vibrant gathering place where the community can come together to experience free performances, cultural programming, and family-friendly events in an inspiring outdoor setting. Texas Traditions reflects that spirit by creating an opportunity for guests of all ages to connect, celebrate, and enjoy a summer evening in the Park.
