Shawn Jackson is the Executive Director of Kaleidoscope Park Foundation, bringing decades of experience in nonprofit leadership and a proven track record in managing top-tier public spaces. Previously, she served as Chief Operating Officer at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, where she played a key role in implementing several areas, including the acclaimed holiday experience and the Children’s Adventure Garden. She was instrumental in working with the City of Dallas and managing a public-private partnership, as well as collaborating with the board on strategic initiatives. Shawn also ensured the Arboretum’s safety during the pandemic and served as interim CEO during a national search for new leadership.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in education with a specialization in Spanish from Oklahoma State University. A longtime Frisco resident, Shawn has spent over two decades in the community, where she has also raised her family. Her deep understanding of community engagement and operational excellence continues to drive the mission of Kaleidoscope Park forward.
