HAPPY FUREVER DOG PARK

The Happy Furever Dog Park was given in love and named by Jan Richey and Tom Lamphere in the spring of 2026.

Jan and Tom graciously named the dog park in honor of Happy FurEver Rescue and Sanctuary, the organization they founded and named after their beloved miniature pony horse, Happy. Through this meaningful gesture, they have beautifully connected their personal story, their passion for animal rescue, and their generosity to the community. Happy was more than a miniature horse. He was a loyal companion, a steady presence, and a source of daily joy. His gentle nature and spirited heart left a lasting imprint on Jan and Tom’s lives. In his honor, they created Happy FurEver Rescue and Sanctuary as a testament to their belief that every animal deserves love, care, and a second chance.

By naming the dog park Happy FurEver, Jan and Tom are extending that mission into the heart of the community. The park will now be a place where dogs run freely; families gather, friendships form, and the simple joy of being together is celebrated. It is a living tribute to the bond between humans and animals and to the enduring spirit of Happy.
