Kaleidoscope Park Foundation to Host Sunset Soirée
Oct. 4 Fest to Honor Sponsors and Supporters of New Park in Advance of Grand Opening
FRISCO, Texas (Aug. 7, 2024) – When Kaleidoscope Park officially opens on Saturday, Oct. 5, it will be the culmination of years of hard work and planning by the Kaleidoscope Park Foundation and its volunteers, as well as its partners at Communities Foundation of Texas, the City of Frisco and HALL Park. It is only fitting, therefore, that those founders and the entities who have sponsored and funded the development of this world-class art and horticultural destination be feted at a ticketed party prior to the official Grand Opening.
On Friday, Oct. 4, guests will be treated to the Sunset Soirée: A Walk in the Park at Frisco’s Kaleidoscope Park. This first-look event offers a curated guest list the chance to stroll the park and hear from those who were fundamental in its creation and completion.
After arriving at the new HALL Park, guests will have the opportunity to stroll the park while enjoying small bites donated by Vestal’s Catering, gelato provided by Gelato la Boca, beer provided by Rollertown Beerworks, cocktails by Socorro Tequila, and spectacular sips of HALL Wines donated by Craig and Kathryn Hall. Guests at the ticketed event will have the first official chance to view Janet Echelman’s magnificent Butterfly Rest Stop, the largest and most important piece of public art to debut in North Texas in years.
The evening’s program will take place on the Arts Lawn with stage and sound provided by Big D Party Rentals. Guests can expect a welcome from Kaleidoscope Park Foundation’s Board President, the Honorable Florence Shapiro, as well as remarks from:
· Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney
· Wayne White, CEO of Communities Foundation of Texas
· Craig Hall, Founder and CEO of HALL Group
· Janet Echelman, artist, and
· Shawn Jackson, Executive Director of Kaleidoscope Park.
In keeping with the bridge that Frisco has built between art and technology, the evening will end with a drone show presented by North Texas’ Sky Elements.

ABOUT HALL PARK
A pioneering development in Frisco since the mid-1990s, HALL Park today encompasses 2.2 million square feet of office space throughout 15 completed buildings. One-third of the park is dedicated to green space and includes three miles of walking trails, over 200 works of art including the Texas Sculpture Garden, the largest private collection of contemporary Texas sculpture made available to the public. In October 2021, its developer, HALL Group, commenced construction on the first phase of its new masterplan development that will evolve HALL Park into a dynamic mixed-use community.
